Why building the WeiQi2Go app?

The #1 purpose of this app is to bring professional games from International tournaments and other professional tournaments in China and Korea, Japan into your hands timely, and here a more complete list of reasons:

1) There are no magazines like WeiQiTianDi(围棋天地) of China oversea, no TianYuanWeiQi(天元围棋) TV Channel to watch-you could try to watch online but the signals are weak and it keeps disconnecting or has other inconvenience,
2) Why not watch games live?, the time zone difference, not every one can afford staying up all night.
3) Why not watch the games online using Java Viewers? they don't show the GB encoded comments properly because of the GB encoding the .sgf files the Chinese use.

4) Comparing to some flash based SGF viewer that does support UTF8, WeiQi2Go mobile app still offers following benefits: better SGF variation support; auto-replay support; user also won't experience the crashes the flash plugins always bring us; a large collection of latest games readily searchable.
5) Why not just download the .sgf files and use a SGF reader on PC or Mac? because again they don't show the comments properly.

In short, Weiqi2Go is designed to be a magazine like game delivery service-which makes professional games records easier and more readily to be accessed by you (it also allows you to search for games of a certain player like a library). The Chinese name of the app "围棋快递", perhaps reflects the nature of this service a bit better.
